Taken from the bridge in the last photo, looking towards the meeting of the ways ... looking along the side-stream towards its junction with the main river. The wall on the left is the edge of the temple compound. Straight ahead, across the main river is another waterway, a canal, protected by a floating bar across the mouth, which only boats of very shallow draft and with retractable screws can cross. |
