The Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region is the largest, most north-westerly area of China, and is actually home to many minority peoples, Uighurs, Kazakhs, Khotanese, Tartars and others. There are a number of Xinjiang restaurants in Xiamen. These photos come from the "Tianshan", long-established and reckoned to be the best in terms of food by many, and the "Alibaba", under new management and renamed since this year's Spring Festival.
