Red kapok flowers

A string of red kapok blossoms along a branch. This tree is in the gardens of the housing estate where I live. Photographically it has the advantage that it is growing right next to a pavilion with an upper level, so one can be on a better level in relation to the flowers. Sadly, though, those that are nearest are facing away from the pavilion. Notice how generally, they point upward, so they are not worth photographing from the ground.
